Swap.com Haul & Review

Hello! I have shopped with Swap.com a few times now, but this was my biggest order!  Swap.com is like an online thrift store but with much nicer clothing & you can stay in the comfort of your own home. I was in need of some new summer items, but I'm on a tight budget. $12-$15 for one item is just too much for me to spend, what can I say, I'm cheap! Honestly, it had been so long since I shopped on Swap.com that I had forgotten about it...oops. Lucky for me it, it happen to have popped up in my news feed on Facebook and I decided t check it out again.

I got this order really quick. Other orders in the past have taken a bit longer, but I wasn't in a hurry for them. It took me a while to decide what I wanted & I did a lot of deleting things & then re-adding them to my cart. I ordered 11 items for myself, but one didn't fit like I had hopped so I gave it to a friend before this post. You can make returns, but It was only $2 & I didn't think it was worth it.

I guess by now, you are ready to see what I got! So, lets begin!

This is the box that all of my goodies came in. Depending on the size of your order, it can come in a box, or a mailer bag. My 1st order from them was small & it came in a mailer bag.

Each item is in its own little bag and has a label on it.

Here is everything I ordered this time! I'm not really a dress person, but since they were only $2 at the time, I decided to try a few.

Next, I'm going to show you what I got!

They have all kinds of brand, but I stuck with one that I knew well & have bought before. Everything was in awesome shape! None of it looks like it has even been worn. No stains, holes or fuzzy balls under the arms. I didn't pay more the $3 each of the items I bought! If you haven't checked Swap.com yet, you really should! First time shoppers get free shipping on an order of $10 or more. A little hint, if you use ebates, just look for Swap on there & they might have some other codes you can use to save even more plus earn cash back!

I hope you enjoyed my haul & if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments. Thanks for stopping by & I hope you have a great day!

Cute little goodie bag!

Ithems in each goodie bag, plus some candy I bought & added.

We had a great time playing a game they included along with some other games. We also learned a lot of stuff to make sure our children are well taken care of. It was a great party & it went by really quick! Thanks Seventh Generation for choosing me to host this party & for all of the free awesome stuff!

Recent Makeup Haul

Hello lovely people! It has been a hot minute since I have posted anything on my blog. Life has changed... A LOT!!! In a VERY good way tho! Anyways, I thought I would share my most recent makeup haul I bought over the past few weeks. I found some pretty good sales & got some pretty nice items!

I discovered Hollar(sing up & receive a $2 credit!) over the summer & found some great deals on makeup I haven't seen in stores near me, so I gave these a try. I haven't tried the Sugar Magic mascara yet, but it's on my to try soon list. I did try a sample of the Iced pigment powder & they are really nice. I will doa  review on them soon with some swatches.

The Family Dollar near me closed, so a few days before they closed for good, I was able to score some more makeup(mostly lip stuff) for about 25 cents each. All of them are by L. A. Colors. Their are a few doubles of some of the glosses/lipsticks because I picked some up for a friend.

I got this lot of goodies at Dollar General. They had Some makeup on clearance & at the time, they had a sale were you got an additional 50% off sell prices. I needed a new foundation & concealer, so that was prefect timing.

Walmart, Target & Family Dollar(a few weeks before they closed) haul. Out of all of this, I did try the Hard Candy primer stick, sadly, it didn't work for me. I ended up breaking out in an itchy rash shortly after putting it on. I had read such good things about it & had high hopes, wish it had worked for me.

It may take me some time to get back into the swing of things, but I do have some ideas ready! Thanks for sticking around & I hope you enjoyed! Please leave a comment if you see something you'd like me to do a review on 1st!

L'Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Mini Review

The first thing I noticed about this shampoo was the wonderful scent! It's very relaxing, so I like to use it at night & I even use a little as a body wash! It left my skin and hair feeling very soft. I do have somewhat oily hair, so I only use the conditioner from below my ears down(I have long hair, down to my waist). I was afraid it would leave my hair oily, but it didn't at all. It felt very healthy. My mom also liked it. She has dry hair and it left hers feeling soft & shiny, not dull & brittle looking. I recommend if your hair is feeling dry or looking dull and you're ready for a change.

Bandana Bibs, Unisex 4-Pack+2 gifts by Pashoshi Review

I have nothing but good things to say about these bibs. They are very well made. The back of them are very soft and do not leave any irritation on the baby's neck. The snaps are very sturdy. They help keep their clothes dry and cute at the same time.

I used these on a baby girl that I watch and she looks very stylish in them. The gray polka dot one looks very cute with pink. The pacifier holder is nice to half. Whenever she drops it, I don't have to search all over for it. I have not gotten a chance to try the cup holder, but it does look like it might work better with a curved bottle or sippy cup with handles.

24 Pack of 4" Premium Baby Monthly Stickers By KiddosArt Review

I've come across a lot of monthly stickers for babies, but these have to be the cutest I have seen! I love that they are for a boy or a girl, not for just one or the other. The animals add a fun touch. There is even a fun sticker for the mama to be to wear that says "coming soon". The fox is my personal favorite.

You also get a set of first holiday stickers! Which I think is much easier then buying clothes that say each holiday(and cheaper!).

They are each 4 inches. They are easy to apply and remove and do not leave any stickiness on the clothing. They are thin and aren't bulky when they are stuck to the clothing. I recommend these for anyone that is expecting or for a gift.

Just In Case Bag

I recently made a quick late night trip to Walmart and came across a cute item in the checkout line. I found this cute Just In Case bag that has 7 items you might need at any given moment.

It was the only one on the shelf at the time, so I wasn't sure if it was a Christmas gift item or not, but when I went back the next day, they had more and in other colors like pink & purple.

The outside feels like a waterproof material, plastic like, but not hard. Plenty of room to add more items you might need.

Inside you get the following.

Mirror
Nail File
Lip Balm
Shimmer Lip Gloss
Tweezers
Nail Clippers
5 Hair Ties.

My guess would be that the color of the items would depend on the color of the bag. I did not notice a scent or flavor with the lip gloss or lip balm. The lip gloss left shine, the balm did not leave shine. You get all of this for less then $5! Perfect for a quick gift for any female in your life. Some items even a guy could use. I plan on getting more to keep for last minute gifts!

Jackpot Candle Reveal & Review

I have been wanting to try one of these candles with a jewelry surprise in them for a while. Recently I found one on sale on Amazon & it was in my favorite scent, lilac! I have loved lilacs since I was young. There was a huge lilac bush in the backyard of my childhood home & this scent takes me back to those easy going days!

I know there are many different types of candles with surprises in them. I bought the Jackpot Brand. The scent is great, smells just like fresh lilacs. It fills the room quickly and is not over powering. Mind burned nice & even & didn't burn straight down causing a "tunnel".

Mine does look a little uneven, but that's because I am very impatient and kept picking it up & moving to see if I could see the foil. You shouldn't dig around because it can damage the ring, but I will admit, I did stick a toothpick in it to see if I would hit anything. I let it burn for about 3 hours & then blew it out. Later that day I let it burn for a while longer & there it was, the purple foil! I did use a spoon to scoop it out. I was so excited, I forgot to get a photo of that part.

This is the ring that I got. It was appraised at $26. I picked a size 9. It fits on my middle finger better tho. The green jewel is really pretty in person. I liked it & got a lot of compliments on it.

I will be buying from this company again. They have great customer service and always make sure the customer is happy. If you do have problems, they reply very quick and are very friendly. These would make great gifts. Besides smelling great, the surprise ring inside is such a fun treat!

ULTIMATE PRENATAL MULTIVITAMIN

I've taken prenatals for years. I don't know about others, but since I started taking them, my hair & nails grow super fast! These are easy to take. I like taking prenatals because they have just about all of the vitamins you need. You do not need to be pregnant or trying to get pregnant to take these.

These are, sugar, GMO, gluten, wheat, shellfish, milk & yeast free! If you have any of those allergies, these prenatals will be safe to take. They are also sodium free and have no artificial flavors or preservatives. They are safe to take while breastfeeding and even provide vitamins baby might need.

Prenatals are very important to take while pregnant. They have a very high level of folic acid, which is very important. Along with other vitamins like B12, help develop a healthy baby. Calcium and zinc help with the babies bone development.

Selfie Stick From The Dollar Tree

Like many others, I LOVE the Dollar Tree! I usually end up going 2-3 times a week. I had heard that selfie sticks had been spotted at different Dollar Tree's, so I had been keeping my eyes open for them. I found mine in the automotive section, just sort of a box of selfie sticks tossed on top of some other items. I don't take a lot of selfies, but I wanted to see what they were all about.

It expands out pretty good. the top metel part bends so you can twist it in different angles. The black part at the top stretches to fit different sized phones. You might also be able to use a small camera with this. It's very light weight. Now with this one, you will need a timer on your phones because it does not have blue tooth accessibility to it.

It's not the best photo, but this is how it looks when using it. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ring. It can hold a bigger phone. The bendy part can be a little flimsy, but once it's turned a certain way, it works fine I think. I not sure how much I will be using it, but for a $1, I couldn't pass it up.

Sound Intone I68 Stereo Headphones with Microphone Review

Sound Intone I68 Stereo Headphones with Microphone

I've tried a lot of different headphones. In ear ones usually fall out with the smallest movement, regular headphones(like these) squeeze my head. I wear glasses, so that made it a bit worse. These don't squeeze my head! The cushioning over the ear part feels comfortable and doesn't pressed my ears flat to my head. They are very light. I like that they fold up, makes them easier to toss in a bag. I like the bright orange, I think it adds to it.

There's buttons on the cord that you can use to turn up volume and switch/pause music. You can also use these to talk on the phone. The sound is great, I didn't have to smoosh my phone against my face in order to hear. You use the same buttons to answer/hang up a call. The microphone is next to the volume button. I think this would be could for computer games.

If you've had trouble in the past with finding headphones that are comfortable, I'd give these a shot. I have a pretty big head, so finding headphones that are comfy is important. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Ticket to Die by Elaine Calloway eBook Review

*Photo is a screen grab taken by me on my Kindle*

Ticket To Die is ghost story by Elaine Calloway. It's the second in the series, but each story in the series is different so they do not need to be read in order.

With book reviews, I always want to tell everything, but if I do that, then what's the point in reading the book? I haven't read many ghost stories(sparkly vampires? yes haha!), so I was interested in reading this.

This book is about a young woman, Amanda and her boyfriend Jake who take a trip to Alabama. They are going to an old abandoned amusement park, Amanda is taking photos of the carousel while Jake is checking out a roller coaster that crashed and killed several people. The bad news for Amanda? She can see & communicate with the dead and the spirits of the people that were killed on the roller coaster are still at the part and they need her help to cross over. Her task is to find the person who caused the crash find out the truth.

I liked this book. I would go thru several chapters at night without even realizing it. It's one that kept my attention and I didn't want to put it down. Even tho the other books in this series are not connected, I would still like to read them. If you like ghost stories, I think you should give this one a try. If you've never tried a ghost story, I think this would be a good one to try out.
