Jackpot Candle Reveal & Review

I have been wanting to try one of these candles with a jewelry surprise in them for a while. Recently I found one on sale on Amazon & it was in my favorite scent, lilac! I have loved lilacs since I was young. There was a huge lilac bush in the backyard of my childhood home & this scent takes me back to those easy going days!

I know there are many different types of candles with surprises in them. I bought the Jackpot Brand. The scent is great, smells just like fresh lilacs. It fills the room quickly and is not over powering. Mind burned nice & even & didn't burn straight down causing a "tunnel".

Mine does look a little uneven, but that's because I am very impatient and kept picking it up & moving to see if I could see the foil. You shouldn't dig around because it can damage the ring, but I will admit, I did stick a toothpick in it to see if I would hit anything. I let it burn for about 3 hours & then blew it out. Later that day I let it burn for a while longer & there it was, the purple foil! I did use a spoon to scoop it out. I was so excited, I forgot to get a photo of that part.

This is the ring that I got. It was appraised at $26. I picked a size 9. It fits on my middle finger better tho. The green jewel is really pretty in person. I liked it & got a lot of compliments on it.

I will be buying from this company again. They have great customer service and always make sure the customer is happy. If you do have problems, they reply very quick and are very friendly. These would make great gifts. Besides smelling great, the surprise ring inside is such a fun treat!

ULTIMATE PRENATAL MULTIVITAMIN

I've taken prenatals for years. I don't know about others, but since I started taking them, my hair & nails grow super fast! These are easy to take. I like taking prenatals because they have just about all of the vitamins you need. You do not need to be pregnant or trying to get pregnant to take these.

These are, sugar, GMO, gluten, wheat, shellfish, milk & yeast free! If you have any of those allergies, these prenatals will be safe to take. They are also sodium free and have no artificial flavors or preservatives. They are safe to take while breastfeeding and even provide vitamins baby might need.

Prenatals are very important to take while pregnant. They have a very high level of folic acid, which is very important. Along with other vitamins like B12, help develop a healthy baby. Calcium and zinc help with the babies bone development.

Selfie Stick From The Dollar Tree

Like many others, I LOVE the Dollar Tree! I usually end up going 2-3 times a week. I had heard that selfie sticks had been spotted at different Dollar Tree's, so I had been keeping my eyes open for them. I found mine in the automotive section, just sort of a box of selfie sticks tossed on top of some other items. I don't take a lot of selfies, but I wanted to see what they were all about.

It expands out pretty good. the top metel part bends so you can twist it in different angles. The black part at the top stretches to fit different sized phones. You might also be able to use a small camera with this. It's very light weight. Now with this one, you will need a timer on your phones because it does not have blue tooth accessibility to it.

It's not the best photo, but this is how it looks when using it. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ring. It can hold a bigger phone. The bendy part can be a little flimsy, but once it's turned a certain way, it works fine I think. I not sure how much I will be using it, but for a $1, I couldn't pass it up.

Sound Intone I68 Stereo Headphones with Microphone Review

Sound Intone I68 Stereo Headphones with Microphone

I've tried a lot of different headphones. In ear ones usually fall out with the smallest movement, regular headphones(like these) squeeze my head. I wear glasses, so that made it a bit worse. These don't squeeze my head! The cushioning over the ear part feels comfortable and doesn't pressed my ears flat to my head. They are very light. I like that they fold up, makes them easier to toss in a bag. I like the bright orange, I think it adds to it.

There's buttons on the cord that you can use to turn up volume and switch/pause music. You can also use these to talk on the phone. The sound is great, I didn't have to smoosh my phone against my face in order to hear. You use the same buttons to answer/hang up a call. The microphone is next to the volume button. I think this would be could for computer games.

If you've had trouble in the past with finding headphones that are comfortable, I'd give these a shot. I have a pretty big head, so finding headphones that are comfy is important. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Ticket to Die by Elaine Calloway eBook Review

*Photo is a screen grab taken by me on my Kindle*

Ticket To Die is ghost story by Elaine Calloway. It's the second in the series, but each story in the series is different so they do not need to be read in order.

With book reviews, I always want to tell everything, but if I do that, then what's the point in reading the book? I haven't read many ghost stories(sparkly vampires? yes haha!), so I was interested in reading this.

This book is about a young woman, Amanda and her boyfriend Jake who take a trip to Alabama. They are going to an old abandoned amusement park, Amanda is taking photos of the carousel while Jake is checking out a roller coaster that crashed and killed several people. The bad news for Amanda? She can see & communicate with the dead and the spirits of the people that were killed on the roller coaster are still at the part and they need her help to cross over. Her task is to find the person who caused the crash find out the truth.

I liked this book. I would go thru several chapters at night without even realizing it. It's one that kept my attention and I didn't want to put it down. Even tho the other books in this series are not connected, I would still like to read them. If you like ghost stories, I think you should give this one a try. If you've never tried a ghost story, I think this would be a good one to try out.

Flea Market Finds

I like going to random flea markets, antique stores & thrift stores on occasion. Since I got into a relationship with my boyfriend, I go just about every weekend lol. He LOVES to got to all of those places and we go to at least one every weekend. Sometimes we would go to 4 or 5 different ones in one weekend. He normally finds more things them I do because he likes to collect a lot of different type of things. His favorite thing is Christmas items.

I don't really go in looking for something special. Sometimes something catches my eye, sometimes nothing does. I have a weakness for Care Bears, jewelry & makeup. I've lucked out & found all 3 one weekend! Below is some pictures of my recent goodies.

I have a tone of floating charms & when I spotted this bracelet, I knew I needed it. There was a lady in front of me who asked about it, but then put it back. I was nice & waited to see if she picked it back up, but she moved on to another booth, so I got it. It also came with a charm of my choice & I picked angel wings.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I can sniff out Care Bears it seems lol. I found this cute little lamp at a thrift stop we stopped in while waiting for pizza. I wasn't going to get it, but my boyfriend knew I wanted it & bought it for me.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Another Care Bears item I sniffed out. This is an environmental Care Bear from the early 90's. I don't have any of these in my collection, so it was a nice find and very cheap at only $2.50.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I LOVE makeup. There's just something about buying new makeup that is so much fun. One of the booths at the flea market was having a special & all makeup was $1. I wanted a lot, but I limited myself to these four, plus 2 nail polishes that didn't make it in the photo. They were all sealed, but I had them all open before I could take photos.

Now if I added everything he picked out, this would be one very long blog post lol! Do you like to go to these types of places? If so, what's some of your favorite finds?

Halloween Fun From PicMonkey!

I can across a fun photo editing site & tried it out! Since I had some computer problems, all of my editing software was deleted & I haven't re installed it yet and I was looking for something simple to use to edit photos for now. I love PicMonkey! You do have to pay so much a month or year for some of the things to use, but for the simple tools I need to use, I haven't signed up for that yet, but it does look worth it. I made myself look like a vampire in about 10 minutes.

Happy Halloween! Take a little spin on the site & show me what you come up with!
