Death By Chocolate Recipe

Looking for a different kind of dessert to make for a party? I'm about to share a VERY yummy one with you!

What you will need.

One chocolate cake mix.
Two boxes of instant pudding mix(a little might be left over)
Large tub of cool whip.
At least 2-3 crunch bars(or any candy bar of your choice)
One large bowl.

First, bake the cake. While it's cooling, make the instant pudding.

Step by step with photos.

After the cake has cooled, crumble up a layer in the bowl.

Add a layer of pudding until the cake is covered.

Next, add a layer of cool whip.

Now you add the crushed up candy bar.

Keep repeating the steps until you end up with the layer of cool whip and candy bars is at the top of the bowl. You will do the steps at least twice, but it depends on the size of the bowl. You can double or triple the ingredients if you want to make it bigger.

The finished result should look like this.

We have this at just about every family gathering. I made it for my boyfriend's birthday because he had never had it before & it was love at first bite! If you've never had it & give it a try, let me know what you think!

Sorry For Being M.I.A.

Hey readers! I am so sorry for being M.I.A. lately. I've been kind of mind blank and had no idea what to write about. I don't want my blog to just be reviews, but I can't think of much other to do. Any ideas? I'm open for anything. I am thinking about sharing my flea market finds and maybe cute outfit ideas that can be found for cheap. Please feel free to drop some ideas below!

Acquapura Personal Water Filter Straw Review

Acquapura Personal Water Filter Straw

I do a lot of hiking with my boyfriend. Just about every weekend we go on some type of adventure into the woods or at a state park. It's normally an all day thing, he likes to be on the go 24/7. I never bring enough water with me & I was always worried about drinking lake or creek water. Towards the end, I would get cranky because I would be thirsty from being stubborn.

This straw has been a life saver! You can use the straw directly in the water, but I collect it in the water bottle and attach it to the bottle.

My water bottle didn't screw onto the straw, but it may just have been my bottle. The water tasted fresh when drinking thru it. It's not heavy at all & fits into a backpack without taking up much room. It also comes with extra filters. Some plastic things that I've drank from has given water a funky taste, but this doesn't. I found it very easy to use, the instructions were not confusing at all. If you like to camp or go on hikes, this is great to carry with you.

Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil Review

Today I am going to share with you the new cleansing oil by Neutrogena. I've been using their face washes for years, so I had no problem trying out a new one. I had heard of cleansing oil on some social media sites, but I hadn't come across any in any stores. I was a little hesitant on trying a cleansing oil since I do have somewhat oily skin.

I am so happy I tried it! I love the scent. It's hard to describe, but it's nice. It left my skin feeling soft & clean feeling. It did not leave my skin feeling oily at at. While using it, it's like I can feel it getting the dirt & makeup off my face. It comes out of the bottle clear & you do not add water or wet your face first. After you massage it in, then you add water which will turn it a pale milky blue. I like this part because I know when I get all of it off. I've had times where I've missed a spot with other face wash & have to go back & wipe it off.

I have been using this cleansing oil for about 3 weeks. I am very happy with it. Since using it, I think my skin has become softer. My skin doesn't feel stripped afterwords like it did with other cleansers. It also gets all of my makeup off in one use. If you've been on the fence on trying a cleansing oil, I recommend this one!

Cotton Baby Carrier Review

Today, I have this very cute baby carrier to tell you about!

This is the first time I have tried out a baby carrier, so I can't compare this to others, but I like this one. It didn't come with any instructions, but I found it easy to use. It can be used in the front or back. The shoulder strap adjust from 24-44 inches & the waist strap adjust from 25-55 inches. I love the little hood that is attached to it. It snaps onto the shoulder straps to hold it in place to protect the baby's head. If you are not using the hood, you can tuck it into the pocket on the carrier.

It's made of cotton which makes it breathable. I thought it was very comfy. The straps did't dig into my shoulders. The straps around the waist didn't cause any discomfort. I tried it out for several hours over the weekend & it was pretty warm. We both stayed comfortable. I do wish it mad a few extra pockets to tuck a few items in. I haven't tried using in the backpack form yet. Overall, I am happy with this carrier and would recommend this to others. You can purchase your very own on Amazon!

Since I think the color would work for a girl or boy, I think this would make a great gift even if the gender is not known. It looks maroon in my photo, but it is a dark red in person. The hood has a vine like design on it in tan colors. If you have any questions, please ask below & I will try my best to answer.

*I received this carrier at little to no cost in exchange for my honest review*

Target Beauty Box, Honor Roll Review

Hello! This time I am going to share the "Honor Roll" beauty box from Target. Out of the two boxes, this one was my favorite. This box was also only $5.

This one also came in a black box with a lid. This one is taller then the "Head Of The Class" box.

Everything included in the box. (Sorry for the flash, I'm still learning with my camera.)

Bathery Delicate Pouf
John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7-Day Treatment
Olay White Strawberry Body Wash
NYX Butter Gloss Strawberry Parfait
Goody Ouchless Elastics
CoverGirl Outlast All-Day Primer
Burt's Bees White Tea Facial Wipes

Purple is my favorite color, so I lucked out there! I'm excited to try out everything in this box. I will do a review on the primer, I have been wanting to try it, but that alone was over $9 at Target.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to come back soon!
